Striped Delight ... by request

Very simple...very tasty...but I always hate to make it because it seems to take so much work. And when it's done, I always wonder,,,what was I thinking?

Striped Delight

1-1/2 cups
graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup
1/3 cup
melted margarine
1 8 oz
cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup
2 Tbs
1 8 oz
Cool Whip, Thawed
2 small pkgs
INSTANT Jello Chocolate Pudding mix
3-1/2 cups

1 1. Combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and the margarine. Press firmly in 9x13" pan. Bake at 325 for 5 minutes. Allow to cool.
2 2. Beat cream cheese with sugar and 2 T. milk til smooth. Fold in half of the coolwhip. Spread over the cooled crust.
3 3. Using 3-1/2 Cup COLD milk, prepare pudding as box directs. Pour over the cream cheese layer. Chill for several hours.
4 4. Spread remaining coolwhip over the pudding. Garnish with grated chocolate or chopped nuts, if desired.
